Whether after a long period of inactivity, in low temperatures or while out on tour – this booster allows motorcycles with a flat battery to be started reliably within seconds.
The integrated lithium battery (LiCoO₂) offers an excellent power-to-size ratio and provides a starting current of 500 A and a peak current of up to 1200 A. The NOMAD POWER 501 is designed for conventional 12 V battery types such as wet, gel, AGM and start-stop.
Note: Starting lithium LiFePO₄ batteries is not permitted with this booster, as the battery voltages are not compatible.
Maximum safety during the starting process is ensured by the intelligent jump-start cable, which reliably protects both the battery and the vehicle electronics. Integrated features include an anti-spark system, protection against short circuits and reverse polarity, limitation of excessive starting currents, and thermal protection for the booster.
In addition, the NOMAD POWER 501 also functions as a mobile power source – ideal for motorcycle touring. The integrated USB ports allow smartphones, sat-navs or other electronic devices to be conveniently charged. An additional 15 V output also enables the operation of 12 V devices.
For emergencies or working in the dark, a powerful LED light is integrated, offering three modes: normal light, strobe and SOS signal. The easy-to-read LCD colour display provides constant information on the charge status of the internal battery as well as the active inputs and outputs.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight of just 480 g, the NOMAD POWER 501 fits easily into on-board luggage, the glove compartment or a travel bag – a reliable companion for every motorcycle ride.
