An intelligent pre-alarm alerts you to movements on the lock and silences itself in case of a false alarm. If the lock continues to be tampered with, an alarm of at least 100 dB will sound.
Thanks to 3D Position Detection, the GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 reliably detects movements on the lock and first triggers the intelligent pre-alarm, which stops after seven signal tones. Only after this and further movements does the 100 dB full alarm sound for 15 seconds. Additionally, the automatic disc brake recognition system knows exactly when the lock is securing the bike on the disc or not. This way, the GRANIT Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 can be comfortably transported in a locked state without activating the alarm function. Different coloured LEDs provide at-a-glance information on activity and battery status.
The necessary material strength is provided by specially hardened steel, from which the locking bolt, housing, and key parts of the locking mechanism are made. The ABUS XPlus cylinder has been specially optimised against tampering, e.g., against picking attempts.
