The DAMEN TITANO rider trousers offer a systematic combination of protection and comfort
What makes the TITANO so special: it combines three functional layers in one system – for protection, weatherproofing, and thermal insulation. The TITANO motorcycle trousers can be comfortably adapted to all weather and temperature conditions.
The protective function
The protective trousers reliably provide impact protection and comply with the AA certification standard EN 17092-3:2020 – the standard for motorcycle rider PPE. They impress with tear-resistant technical fabrics such as CORDURA® 500D, durable high-quality zips, tear-resistant threads and buttons, and the carefully thought-out placement and certification of the protectors. Reinforcements made of leather at the knees and outer thighs/hips offer additional cushioning and protection. These are complemented by strategically placed reflective materials and various adjustment options using straps or buttons.
Two high-tech functional fabrics are used in the protective trousers
- Cordura® is a highly durable and long-lasting fabric. It is made from certified yarns to INVISTA® fabric standards. DAMEN uses Cordura® 500D. The fluorescent colours of this fabric meet the visibility standard EN-20471, commonly used in public service uniforms. Thanks to its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, Cordura® 500D is particularly comfortable to wear – ideal for long tours and excellent comfort.
- Hydrophobic leather is a water-repellent treated leather used by DAMEN in combination with Cordura® 500D. It is ideal for reinforcement zones.
DAMEN KEEP-TECH protectors offer excellent impact protection while being comfortable to wear. These are standard in all DAMEN motorcycle jackets and trousers and meet the EN-1621-2, 2014 standard – a benchmark for professional motorcycle apparel. The protectors, made of viscoelastic or comfort foam, adapt to the wearer’s body through heat. The knee and hip protectors come with the highest (Level 2) CE certification.

Variable protection against rain and cold
- Rain protection
D-TEX 3-layer lining. The DAMEN-developed D-TEX 3-layer lining is a removable waterproof membrane made from three layers – laminated on both sides for maximum durability. While D-TEX is waterproof, it remains breathable and elastic. On warm days, the zipped-in lining can be removed. If air vents in the trousers are then opened, they provide additional ventilation and cooling. - Cold protection
Thermal lining. The zipped-in and removable thermal lining is ideal for cold-weather rides. This thermal lining features an aluminium layer that reflects body heat effectively while blocking out the cold.

As pure protective trousers
Without the membrane lining, the TITANO trousers serve as all-round motorcycle trousers that fulfil all protection, comfort, and visibility requirements.
Combination of protective and membrane trousers
When worn beneath the protective trousers, the membrane layer serves as the waterproof barrier. The outer trousers, treated against water and dirt, handle protection while the inner membrane keeps moisture out. This combination is ideal for unpredictable weather or if a sudden downpour occurs and changing is not an option.

Worn together, the membrane and thermal lining beneath the protective trousers provide optimal protection against both moisture and cold, with the outer trousers remaining the primary protective layer.
