In the event of a tip-over or fall, the axle protectors ensure that the fork, wheel axle and braking system are effectively protected from damage.

The protectors act as spacers, keeping these components away from the ground during point contact or scraping contact with the surface, thereby reducing or preventing costly damage to the motorcycle. In addition to the choice of material, we have structurally integrated two essential, specific features that have been proven in motorsport: damping and progressively increasing friction resistance.

Damping: The first key feature is damping, which allows the pads to absorb part or all of the impact energy in the event of sudden force.

Friction resistance: The second key feature is friction resistance, which increases from the outside inwards due to the growing effective contact surface as defined by the component’s geometry. This means that under light contact, our axle protector offers only minimal resistance, but in cases of prolonged scraping contact with the road, the sliding phase is reduced in both time and distance. In other words, when falling with an axle protector, the motorcycle slides for less time and over a shorter distance.
