The beautifully designed engine side cover cleverly conceals what many consider to be an unattractive view of the left engine side. There you can see the back of the radiator, the radiator fan, a multitude of cables and lines laid there, as well as internal trim elements. The side panel visually closes the opening and at the same time efficiently directs the flow of hot cooling air from the radiator and engine past the driver's leg through the integrated flow openings - because it would otherwise directly hit the driver's left leg. It thus combines effective function and integral design, as it blends in perfectly with the left-hand side of the engine. The attachment occurs to the existing screw points.
