The S1 HPA shock absorber is the first upgrade for riders who wish to optimise their standard suspension or replace their ageing OEM suspension with a higher-quality unit. Each high-grade all-round shock absorber features damping settings specifically developed for the respective motorcycle model and intended use. It is primarily aimed at touring riders who generally ride with a consistent damping setup. Equipped with hydraulic spring preload adjustment (HPA).

• Our shock absorbers are specifically developed for each motorcycle and its intended purpose, offering excellent performance and impressive reserves
• The balanced and sensitive damping behaviour of our suspension components ensures neutral and predictable handling, building rider confidence and enhancing riding enjoyment
• The shocks impress with precise feedback: they optimise tyre-to-road contact, wheel guidance and directional stability, while reducing tyre wear
• The rebound and compression damping adjustment allows precise fine-tuning of the damping with the supplied suspension tool
• With a range of 18 clicks, the damping can be finely balanced, with each click producing a perceptible change in damping
• To achieve optimal responsiveness,
  • the nitrogen and damping oil inside the shock body are separated by a floating piston,
  • we use large-diameter pistons (46 mm) to minimise oil flow resistance,
  • and low-friction seals
• The generously sized oil volume ensures
  • an optimal operating temperature of the oil,
  • stable damping performance,
  • and a longer service life of both the damper and the oil

• Spring characteristics and preload
• Hydraulic preload: the shock absorber is equipped with a sealed, extremely robust hydraulic spring preload adjustment. The preload can be comfortably adjusted using an easily accessible handwheel.
