This Wunderlich GUARD engine protection bar offers the optimal balance of protection and weight.

This engine guard design is also focused on delivering maximum protective performance. Thanks to the geometry of the compact three-part bar system, the high-performance engine and its components are reliably protected. The system consists of a left and right bar, each with two mounting points, and a central connecting brace. The custom-fit design closely follows the engine's lines and gains additional rigidity and stability through its compact structure. It is securely mounted at two specific points on each side. In the event of a fall or tip-over, the resulting forces are distributed across four total mounting points. This significantly reduces load spikes from external impacts, helping to prevent damage.

Bonus: crash bar protectors included
To complement the engine protection concept, the bar comes with two pre-installed crash bar protectors, included in the delivery.
Our practical and durable protectors are made from impact-resistant polymer material and help prevent scratches on the protection bars. They feature a robust aluminium clamp and are securely mounted with four bolts. The design is functional yet refined thanks to the shape and surface texture.

Installation is simple and straightforward.

The radiator is optimally positioned in the airstream generated during travel for optimum airflow to cool the engine. The exposed installation position also means that the delicate fins of the radiation network are also unprotected against stone strikes, foreign bodies and insects, however. Insects clog up the cooler and reduce the cooling capacity, such as fins bent by „stone impacts“. In the worst case, this can lead to leaks. With a damaged cooler, it is no longer possible to continue driving and dirt reduces the cooling capacity.

Our radiator protection is designed to provide an optimal air flow and optimal cooling capacity. The front silhouette of the cooler is covered in a way that reliably avoids foreign bodies and insects directly striking the vulnerable radiator network. It reliably protects the cooler without impacting the air flow.

Our radiator protection is also a visual highlight: The functional design is integrated into the appearance and visibly enhances it.

The facts:

• Refined, reliable protection of the vulnerable radiator network for the radiator
• Prevents damage and heavy dirt or foreign bodies being thrown up
• Prevents the loss of cooling in the radiator without reducing the air flow

To ensure an oil cooler can deliver optimal cooling, it needs optimal air flowing through from the air flow as you ride. This is why it’s located on the bottom end of the fairing, beneath the radiator.

This has a serious disadvantage though: the oil cooler sits directly behind the front wheel and therefore right in the path of whirled up dirt, stones and foreign bodies that hit the delicate fins of the oil cooler. Dirt and insects clog up the cooler and reduce the cooling capacity, such as fins bent by „stone impacts“. In the worse case, foreign bodies with sharp edges can cause damage that lead to leaks. With a damaged cooler, it is no longer possible to continue driving and dirt reduces the cooling capacity.

This is why we recommend our oil protection grille, which consists of a fine meshed, tough and resistant stainless steel grille, to avoid damage and capture heavy dirt before it affects the oil cooler. It reliably protects the oil cooler without impacting the air flow.

The facts:

Function

• Refined, reliable protection of the vulnerable radiator network for the oil cooler
• Prevents damage and heavy dirt from foreign bodies thrown up by the front wheel
• Prevents the loss of cooling in the oil cooler without reducing the air flow
• Highly solid, resistant welded stainless steel grille with sturdy aluminium frame bonding

Tip:
If you want to carefully clean the cooler by hand, this must be done with extreme care to ensure that the radiator network doesn't get damaged. Insects and other grime which has accumulated can be easily removed with a damp cloth. Place the damp cloth on the grille until the dirt is loosened by the moisture and can be easily wiped away with no residue.

The life insurance for your Ducati DesertX: The small contact area of the original side stand means there is a risk of an often unnoticed slow sinking, on both hot tar surfaces as well as on lightly chewed up ground. A precisely milled enlarger that can be easily screwed onto the side stand effectively eliminates this design flaw. And to ensure that the side stand can be easily folded out with the heel of your boot, we've also incorporated external teeth.

Proven in racing and off-road sports: Wunderlich DOUBLESHOCK axle protectors

The axle protectors ensure that, in the event of a tip-over or fall, the swingarm, wheel axle, and chain tensioning system are effectively protected from damage.

The protectors create distance between these components and the ground during point or sliding contact, thereby reducing or preventing costly damage to the motorcycle. In addition to our choice of material, we have structurally integrated two key specific features – damping and progressively increasing friction resistance – which we have tested under racing conditions.

Damping: The first key feature is the damping effect, which can fully or partially absorb impact energy in the event of sudden force.

Friction resistance: The second key feature is friction resistance, which increases from the outside in due to the geometry of the component and the expanding effective sliding surface. This means that under light contact the axle protector offers low resistance, but in the case of prolonged sliding on the road, it significantly shortens both the duration and distance of the slide. In other words, in the event of a fall, the time and distance the motorcycle slides are both reduced.

For optimal protection of your machine, we recommend combining our axle protectors with our vehicle-specific crash bar systems, for which we also offer additional model-specific protector pads.

The tried and tested protect characteristics of our MARATHON windshield ensure relaxed riding thanks to its effective protection against wind and weather, its ergonomics as well as its distinctive comfort over long distances, even on your Ducati Multistrada V4, and thus incidentally also ensures greater passive safety. Thanks to its dimensions, it offers optimal relief from wind pressure for the head, upper body, and shoulders, and significantly less turbulence. The beautifully designed MARATHON windshield thus unleashes its full potential with the attractive Italian too on long as well as short tours and at all times of the year. It offers maximum protection and perfect ergonomics for all body sizes.

The high-quality workmanship can be seen on the first glance through the scratch-proof, fuel and UV-proof, 5 mm thick windshield: clear transparency with no irritating visual distortions. Another trademark: the hand-polished, all-round edge of this windshield makes separate edge protection redundant. Only in this way can the windshield offer aerodynamic benefits and reduced wind noises and vibrations, as well as an undisturbed view to the front. All of this enables laid-back, thoroughly relaxed and upright sitting.

The overall look, the Multistrada flyline, is decidedly influenced by the series windshield. That is why our developers placed particularly high value on ensuring that our MARATHON windshield does not take away the special character and charm of the Multistrada, but rather underscores both with its integrated form.

The facts

• Perfect wind and weather protection on any adventure
• Effective aerodynamics optimised down to the details for maximum relief for the head, upper body and arms, larger size than the standard windshield
• Prevents any kind of muscle tension, especially on long routes
• Consistent aerodynamic design to reduce wind noises and vibrations
• Clear transparency with no irritating visual distortions
• Thanks to a special manufacturing process the windshield does away with any edge protection and offers a perfect view

ERGO 25 mm: Optimised ergonomics for the Multi V4 thanks to the ergonomically effective, moderate rise of the handlebar base by 25 millimetres

The handlebar riser, specially designed by our developers, moderately raises the handlebar by 25 mm. The ergonomic effects are substantial, as they have a relaxing effect on the entire back musculature and arms, while simultaneously relieving the spine, pelvis, and coccyx. This greatly improves touring suitability and comfort. Relaxed riding also contributes to increased passive safety, as does the improved view of traffic afforded by the more upright seating position.

An open knee angle provides noticeably more comfort when riding. At the same time, this reduces the mechanical strain on the knee joints and constriction of the blood vessels at the back of the knees.

With our footrests, the feet rest 20 mm lower, while the knee angle is opened up and enlarged, which leads to a thoroughly relaxed and comfortable sitting position. This makes it possible to reduce or even completely eliminate the painful and tortuous effects often associated with a tight knee angle.

With our sophisticated design, we achieve noticeable, ergonomically effective lowering without considerably extending the base of the footrest outwards. This actually adds to your comfort. At the same time, the lean angle is retained to a high degree. The good accessibility of the gear and break levers, as well as their safe operation, makes riding a real pleasure.

Produced from high-strength aluminium, the footrests are designed to handle even the heaviest loads.

The facts

Function

• Lowers the footrests by 20 mm compared to the position of the original footrests
• Ergonomic thanks to a relaxed and open knee angle.
• Reduces stress on the knee joints and blood vessels
• Effortless riding pleasure, free of fatigue
• We also offer a vibration-damping rubber foot peg as an option (25920-000).

Our Vario footrest system is the ultimate solution when it comes to adjustable footrests. With an adjustment range of 100mm diameter, no wishes remain unfulfilled. No matter whether you have a large or small foot, whether you want to increase the lean angle or simply relieve the knee angle comfortably. The eight-fold adjustment possibility by a full 360° ensures enormous flexibility. This comfort gain is available for both rider and passenger. Delivery is always with German type approval. All parts are made of high-strength aluminium and anodised in silver or black.

For complete assembly, the Vario joint, the Vario adapter and the desired Vario footrest are required for each side of the bike.

The basis of the system is the silver or black Vario joint, which is suitable for the respective bike model and is mounted on the footrest bracket instead of the footrest.

A Vario adapter is mounted to it, its length is either 23mm (Item-No.: 70330-000), 30mm (Item-No.: 70330-030) or (Item-No.: 70330-050) 50mm. It can be attached in eight different directions.

The footrest (Item-No.: 70331-000) is now attached to the adapter; it can optionally be fitted with a footrest rubber (Item-No.: 70332-002).

We think the standard foot gear-shifter is too petite, too short and too thin in a diameter. You look for it again and again, but sometimes you hit it imprecisely and sadly your boot toe slipping is a given.

Our aluminium, cylindrical gear-shift extension, which is a whole 15 mm longer than the original, is very easily pushed over the standard lever and is firmly clamped in place. This change not only makes switching gears noticeably easier, but more comfortable too. This means added operating reliability, especially in situations where it’s key.

The three ring-shaped, integrated rubber segments provide the best grip when shifting gears and simultaneously ease the stress on your motorcycle boots or shoes.

The standard pedal on the foot brake lever is unfortunately too small. You look for it again and again, but sometimes you hit it imprecisely and unfortunately, it's a given that the toe of your boot will slip. Slipping off, or worse, missing the pedal altogether are a thing of the past with this brake lever enlargement. The high-quality finish ensures that it is a visual treat and the non-slip, milled grooves emphasise the adventure look and offers the best possible grip – not only in the wet or off road.

The aluminium brake lever enlargement has a trapezoidal shape and is simply and securely attached to the standard lever using two recessed screws. This modification noticeably increases comfort, facilitates controlled braking and reduces the risk of excessive braking. This means added operating reliability, especially in situations where it matters most.

The padding is cleverly constructed to prevent sagging, and seat pressure is evenly distributed across a wider surface area. This leads to a significantly lower specific pressure on the rider’s rear – very comfortable! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also alleviates pressure on the sensitive coccyx. The seat provides excellent support and allows for active, safe control – especially under hard braking: who hasn’t experienced that moment when a pillion rider suddenly shoves forward while braking, forcing the rider to brace themselves and simultaneously steer in a critical situation? With Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour, such braking shocks are a thing of the past. The innovative ergonomic 3D contour also prevents pressure points on the inner thighs when stopping at traffic lights.

CLICK BAG 6: Compact. And versatile
The CLICK BAG 6 can be expanded from six to eight litres

Our CLICK BAG 6 tank bag offers you remarkably smart handling – attaching and removing it is quick and easy with a simple “click”. The tank bags in our CLICK BAG series are securely fastened to the respective model-specific tank ring by means of a mechanical, form-fitting lock.
The compact CLICK BAG 6 has a storage volume of six litres, which can be expanded to eight litres by 33% using a perimeter zip. The main compartment is easily accessible thanks to the wide opening of the closure flap. Inside, we’ve added a versatile mesh pocket with a zip. On the outside, the top cover features an adjustable Velcro strap for securing gloves or other items. This can also serve as an alternative handle to the integrated carrying strap. The main zip has two ergonomic pullers, which feature holes allowing the CLICK BAG to be securely locked with a standard padlock.

Handling is exceptionally comfortable: when attaching, the CLICK BAG is inserted into the tank ring from above until the lock engages automatically. The locking mechanism can be released by pulling on the strap – so the tank bag can be removed in seconds, for example when fuelling up. The robust locking mechanism can be shifted forward or backward along the tank in 20 mm increments, allowing the bag’s position to be customised to suit the tank shape or handlebar angle.

The functional shape and seam design of our CLICK BAG range offer high recognition value. The 840D ballistic polyester used – originally developed for military use – underlines the clear and minimalist design of this high-end tank bag series. The internal qualities are just as impressive: the structural rigidity of a tank bag is especially noticeable when it’s empty or at high speeds. We ensure this stability by using high-density EVA foam with a fine-pored, closed-cell structure. It is resistant to all common environmental factors and significantly more durable than many other materials.

The outer material is water-repellent. A waterproof inner bag with roll-top closure – included with this CLICK BAG – can be buttoned inside. Its blue colour provides high contrast and good visibility of the contents.

This model-specific tank ring mount designed for Ducati Multistrada V4 models with a storage compartment in the tank allows the storage compartment to remain accessible and usable.

Our CLICK BAG tank bags are extremely clever to use, as they can be fitted and removed in the blink of an eye - with a "click".

The so-called model-specific tank ring forms the solid basis for the secure, mechanical locking of the CLICK BAG tank bags. To attach the CLICK BAG, insert it from above into the two guides of the tank ring until the lock automatically locks. With a strap on the tank bag, the lock can be released with a single pull. This allows the tank bag to be removed quickly and easily, e.g. for refuelling.
