This Wunderlich GUARD engine protection bar strikes the perfect balance between protection and weight.
As with all our engine protection solutions, this design prioritises maximum protective performance. The geometry of the compact, three-part protection bar reliably shields the high-performance engine and its components. It consists of left and right bars, each with two mounting points, and a connecting brace. The custom-fitted assembly hugs the engine closely and, thanks to its compact structure, gains additional rigidity and stability. It is securely bolted to two specifically selected mounting points. In the event of a drop or crash, forces and torques are distributed across four contact points in total. This significantly reduces peak loads from external impacts and thus lowers the risk of damage.
Bonus: Crash bar protectors included
To complement the engine protection concept, the bar comes fitted with two crash bar protectors (#70211-002), which are included in the delivery.
These practical and effective protectors are made from durable polymer material that helps prevent scratches to the protection bar. They feature a robust aluminium clamping mechanism and are securely mounted using four bolts. Their functional design and surface finish give them a premium look.
Installation is straightforward and easy to perform.
