This rear hugger protects both rider and technology! It provides reliable protection for the legs and feet of the rider and passenger against spray, wet conditions and dirt thrown up by the rear wheel.
At the same time, it also offers reliable protection for the technical components: the suspension strut, exhaust system, collector, exhaust flap mechanism and the underside of the rear frame are protected against stone chips, road grime and, when riding in the rain, moisture.
The rear hugger is reinforced at the sides to dampen vibrations.
Three specially shaped openings around the edge of the hugger provide effective noise reduction in two ways: the resonance behaviour of the rear hugger is positively influenced, while the aerodynamically generated noise in the narrow gap between the wheel and the hugger is reduced in terms of flow acoustics.
