Compact When You Want It – Spacious When You Need It: The Variable-Capacity Pannier Set with 50% More Volume at the Touch of a Button.

An innovative variable-capacity pannier set that impresses with its premium design and flexibility. The highlight is the side covers in a two-tone design with inset real carbon fibre panels by Ilmberger, creating an exclusive, high-quality and distinctly technical appearance. The integrated extension mechanism allows the capacity to be increased by an impressive 50%.

Each pannier can be extended by 70 millimetres to suit individual requirements. With the extension deployed, these variable-capacity panniers are the most compact motorcycle panniers capable of accommodating a modular helmet.

The variable-capacity panniers therefore offer outstanding flexibility whenever additional storage space is needed. When it is not, the motorcycle's overall width is reduced. This is particularly advantageous in busy urban areas. The risk of catching the panniers on obstacles when parking, in traffic jams or on ferries is reduced. Handling becomes noticeably more agile thanks to the more favourable centre of gravity, compared with riding with equally large panniers without an extension mechanism. The effects of aerodynamic wind loads are also reduced.

The panniers are compatible with our X-RACK light and X-RACK light DirectLock pannier carriers. The additional adapter #30187-002 is required for mounting them on our X-RACK pannier carriers.

The side covers with the Wunderlich brand logo, featuring a black and aluminium-coloured two-tone design, have an attractive, premium appearance and are genuine eye-catchers thanks to the embossed brand logo. The pannier rims feature a proven sealing system that reliably protects the contents.

Each pannier is equipped with two internal mesh pockets that secure the luggage and allow items to be separated when required. This keeps the pannier tidy and organised while providing space for smaller travel accessories or documents.

The innovative Smart Lock locking system of the variable-capacity panniers offers maximum security and convenience. The panniers can be opened, closed, fitted to or removed from the motorcycle in seconds. In addition, their integrated fold-out handles make the panniers easy to carry.
