Charging
Revives deeply discharged batteries even at 4 volts with the unique pulse function. Fastest charging occurs as the intelligent charging function selects pulse or continuous charging depending on the intensity of the sunlight. Intelligent maintenance – continues the next day if a battery has held its charge overnight; otherwise, the programme reverts to the OPTIMIZE step.

Monitoring
The battery status is displayed every 3 seconds. Standby indicator for STD, high-performance AGM batteries, and Lithium LFP batteries. Draws less than 0.5 mA in monitoring mode. Automatically switches to CHARGING when sunlight intensity is sufficient.

Installation
The OptiMate charge controller is separate from the panel and can be placed close to the vehicle or battery, making it easy to monitor the charging and maintenance progress. The solar panel should be mounted and aligned so that sunlight falls directly on it. The distance between the battery and the panel is 315 cm/124″.
