Integrated high-performance protection cover set for the clutch and alternator covers

The two rather complex original engine covers for the alternator and clutch are vulnerable in the event of an unfortunate tip-over or crash. To protect these sensitive housing covers, we have developed a set of precisely fitting, impact-resistant and lightweight covers. They feature an integrated, attractive design that reliably protects the vulnerable areas while also emphasising the design of the housing covers and, in particular, leaving the raised VOGE lettering exposed. Our developers have designed the component shape and mounting points of the covers so that mechanical loads and force peaks are distributed evenly across the respective component structure and dissipated. An elastomer moulded element made of silicone, fitted on the inside, provides additional damping. It also seals the covers against the alternator and clutch covers, keeping dirt, moisture and dust out. The covers can be installed in just a few minutes using the supplied fitting kit.

Integrated high-performance protection cover for the water pump cover

The water pump is located on the right-hand side of the engine, far forward in an exposed position. It is easily recognisable by the hose leading to the radiator. The water pump housing, and therefore the function of the water pump, is at risk in the event of an unfortunate tip-over or fall. That is why we consider it sensible to equip this unit with an additional protection cover. After all, a water pump failure always means the ride comes to a halt; otherwise, severe engine damage may occur because cooling is no longer guaranteed.

For protection, we have developed an exceptionally precise-fitting, impact-resistant and lightweight cover that reliably protects the water pump. It stands out thanks to its attractive design.

Our developers designed the structure of the cover so that mechanical loads and force peaks are evenly distributed and dissipated across the component structure of the cover. An elastomer moulded element made of silicone, fitted on the inside, provides additional damping. It also seals the cover against the original water pump cover, keeping dirt, moisture and dust out.

The cover can be installed in just a few minutes using the supplied fitting kit.

The Wunderlich engine guard EXTREME

The functional design and structural integration of our EXTREME engine guard protects the engine and header pipes. It fits so closely around the power unit that not only is the frontal impact area minimised, but ground clearance and lean-angle clearance remain virtually unchanged. The shape of the guard prevents unpleasant levering or snagging off-road, whether caused by branches, scree or rocks. Openings ensure that water taken on after river crossings can drain away freely. Typically Wunderlich, unrestricted and easy access for maintenance work has been taken into account: for example, a dedicated opening has been provided to allow the engine oil to drain freely. The aluminium engine guard is corrosion-resistant, and any forces and vibrations that occur are absorbed by impact-decoupling mounting elements. We manufacture the EXTREME engine guard using the technologically demanding and advanced hydroforming process. This allows us to realise complex component shapes and geometries, especially asymmetrical ones, where optimising the material thickness enables us to achieve lower weight while at the same time providing high component rigidity and mechanical stability. The result is a durable, weight- and shape-optimised engine guard that fits so closely and organically around the power unit that the design principle of “form follows function” becomes obvious. It is available in a black powder-coated version. Our EXTREME engine guard is Made in Germany. That is why we are happy to provide a 5-year warranty.

Secure footing for your VOGE DS900X on any surface – thanks to the practical Wunderlich side stand enlarger

Life insurance for your VOGE: due to the small contact surface of the original side stand, there is a risk of the bike slowly and often unnoticed sinking in, both on hot tarmac surfaces and even on slightly soft ground. A precisely form-milled enlargement plate, which is simply screwed onto the side stand, effectively eliminates this design-related shortcoming. And to ensure that the side stand can be easily folded out with the heel of your boot, we have integrated an external serration.

This rear hugger protects both rider and technology! It provides reliable protection for the legs and feet of the rider and passenger against spray, wet conditions and dirt thrown up by the rear wheel.
At the same time, it also offers reliable protection for the technical components: the suspension strut, exhaust system, collector, exhaust flap mechanism and the underside of the rear frame are protected against stone chips, road grime and, when riding in the rain, moisture.
The rear hugger is reinforced at the sides to dampen vibrations.
Three specially shaped openings around the edge of the hugger provide effective noise reduction in two ways: the resonance behaviour of the rear hugger is positively influenced, while the aerodynamically generated noise in the narrow gap between the wheel and the hugger is reduced in terms of flow acoustics.

Tested in racing and off-road use: Wunderlich DOUBLESHOCK axle protection pads

In the event of the motorcycle tipping over or being involved in a crash, the axle protection pads help effectively protect the fork, wheel axle and brake system from damage.

The protection pads keep these components away from the ground or road surface during point contact or sliding contact, thereby reducing or preventing expensive damage to the motorcycle. In addition to the choice of material, we have integrated two key specific properties into the design and tested them in racing: damping and friction behaviour during the sliding phase. Damping: The first positive property is damping, which can fully or partially absorb part of the impact energy in the event of sudden force impacts.

The second positive property concerns the friction behaviour of the axle protection pads. Due to the special component geometry, the effective contact or sliding surface progressively increases as the load rises. As a result, the protection pad initially offers comparatively low friction during light contact, while more energy is dissipated during prolonged sliding contact with the road surface. This can help reduce the duration of the sliding phase and the motorcycle’s sliding distance. For optimum protection of your machine, we recommend combining our axle protection pads with our vehicle-specific crash bar systems, for which we offer additional protection pads.

A bent or torn-off steering stop can easily lead to loss of the operating licence. Our energy-absorbing steering stop limiter prevents this!

Wunderlich steering stop limiter - black

In an emergency, it protects the tank and the frame around the steering head from major damage in the event of a tip-over, fall or accident. Even more importantly, it also protects hands and arms from being trapped. We are talking about the steering stop. Often a small, inconspicuous metal block that determines the maximum steering angle of the handlebar and is intended to prevent it folding in when in doubt. Actually a sensible feature. Were it not for one serious issue: frequently, the welded-on or forged stops, which are often undersized, bend or even tear off when force is applied. This inevitably results in loss of the operating licence because the frame loses its approval. After all, this inconspicuous component is relevant for the roadworthiness test.

Our energy-absorbing steering stop limiter provides the remedy

The original steering stops, the frame and the tank are reliably protected by our limiters, which support themselves against a suitable, stable point on the frame at maximum steering lock, and they reduce the risk of damage! In the event of a tip-over or fall, their large rubber blocks limit and damp the steering lock before the standard steering stops are reached with full force. The material properties of the limiters have been selected so that the stop damping is initially soft and then becomes progressive as the steering lock increases. In doing so, they absorb the impact energy, protect the original steering stops and reduce the risk of the standard steering stop bending or breaking off.

Of course, in the event of a fall, the limiters also create space for hands and forearms and reduce the risk of trapping.

For technical reasons, the protective function entails a slight reduction in steering lock, which is unnoticeable in everyday use. The function of the steering lock is, of course, not impaired.

Installing the two steering stop limiters is extremely simple: first they are attached to the fork legs using a concealed, high-quality 3M adhesive tape and then additionally secured with a robust cable tie, which fits unobtrusively into the circumferential groove provided for this purpose.

Wunderlich brake lever enlargement – the decisive extra in operating safety for situations where it really matters

Many riders feel that the standard foot brake lever pedal is simply too small. You often find yourself searching for it, sometimes missing it slightly, and slipping off it with the tip of your boot is practically inevitable. Slipping off, or worse still, stepping into empty space, is a thing of the past with our brake lever enlargement. Its high-quality finish also makes it a real visual highlight: the anti-slip, milled ribbing underlines the Adventure look and provides excellent grip – not only in wet conditions and off-road.

Our trapezoidal aluminium brake lever enlargement is securely mounted to the standard lever with two concealed screws. This measure noticeably increases comfort, makes controlled braking easier and reduces the risk of overbraking. This means added operating safety, especially in situations where it really matters.

CLICK BAG 6: Compact. And versatile
The CLICK BAG 6 can be expanded from six to eight litres

Our CLICK BAG 6 tank bag is extremely clever to use, as it can be attached and removed in the blink of an eye - with a "click". The tank bags of our CLICK BAG range can be attached comfortably and securely to the tank ring specific to the respective model by means of a positive mechanical locking mechanism.

The compact CLICK BAG 6 has a storage capacity of six litres, which can be expanded by 33% to eight litres with a circumferential zip. The main compartment is easily accessible thanks to the generous opening of the closing flap. On the inside we have equipped this compartment with a versatile mesh compartment, which can be closed with a zip. On the outside, the lid has an adjustable Velcro strap for attaching gloves or other utensils. It can be used as an alternative to the comfortable carrying handle of the CLICK BAG. The zip of the main compartment has two ergonomic zips. The sliders are equipped with openings through which the CLICK BAG can be securely locked with a standard padlock.

The handling is extremely convenient: Once attached, the CLICK BAG is inserted into the tank ring from above until the lock locks automatically. The lock can be released with a simple pull on the strap. This means that the tank bag can be removed in the blink of an eye for refuelling. The robust locking mechanism can be moved longitudinally forwards or backwards. In this way, the position of the tank bag on the tank can be adjusted in three positions in a 20 mm grid to suit individual requirements and circumstances arising from the shape of the tank or the steering angle.

The functional form and stitching of our CLICK BAG tank bag series have a high recognition value. The 840D ballistic polyester fabric used, originally developed for the military, underlines the puristic and clear design of the high-quality CLICK BAG tank bag series. But also the internal values are correct. The dimensional stability of a tank bag is noticeable when empty or at high speeds. We guarantee dimensional stability by using an EVA foam that derives its high compression and strength from its extremely fine-pored closed cell structure. It is resistant to the omnipresent environmental influences and extremely durable compared to other materials.

The outer material is water-repellent. A waterproof luggage bag with a roll closure – included in the delivery of this CLICK BAG – can be buttoned into the tank bag. It is blue, providing a good contrast and clear visibility of the contents.

High-quality, functional and dimensionally stable handlebar bag for everything that needs to be quickly to hand, yet also perfectly protected against weather, impacts and vibrations. With its generous three-litre capacity, the handlebar bag features an easy-to-open flap made from robust, waterproof tarpaulin material. So that smartphones and other devices can be charged on the move, the bag has a water-resistant E-Connect cable access for charging or power supply. The large main compartment closes with a water- and dust-repellent zip to ensure nothing gets lost. With Wunderlich’s typical blue inner lining, which, as proven, provides a high-contrast background against which even small travel items are easy to see. A compartment on the inside of the flap and four pen slots complete the functional features of the BARBAG EVO bag. The vibration-absorbing base and sophisticated multi-layer construction help protect the contents. Thanks to the secure hook-and-loop fastening system, attaching and removing the BARBAG EVO handlebar bag is simple and done in no time.

Compact when you want it – spacious when you need it: the Vario case set with 50% more volume virtually at the touch of a button.

Innovative Vario case set that impresses with high-quality design and flexibility. The highlight is the side covers in a bicolour look with integrated aluminium panels, which radiate a premium yet technical appearance. The volume can be increased by an impressive 50% thanks to the integrated extension.

For this purpose, the cases can each be extended by 70 millimetres and adapted to individual requirements. This makes the Vario cases the most compact motorcycle cases capable of accommodating a modular helmet when the extension is used.

The Vario cases therefore always offer sufficient flexibility when additional storage space is required. When it is not, the width of the motorcycle is reduced. This proves advantageous in urban areas with high traffic density. The risk of getting caught with the cases when parking, in traffic jams or on a ferry is reduced. Handling becomes noticeably more agile thanks to the more favourable centre of gravity compared with riding with cases of the same size without extension. The effects of wind load from the riding wind are also lower.

The cases are compatible with our X-RACK light and X-RACK light DirectLock case carriers. Adapter #30187-002 is additionally required for mounting on our X-RACK case carriers.

The side covers featuring the Wunderlich brand logo in black/aluminium-coloured bicolour look are attractively and beautifully designed and, with the embossed brand logo, are a real eye-catcher. The case frames are equipped with a proven sealing system that reliably protects the contents.

Each case is equipped with two inner nets that secure the luggage and separate it when required. This creates order and overview inside the case and also enables smaller travel items or documents to be stored.

The innovative Smart Lock locking system of the Vario cases offers maximum security and maximum comfort. The cases can be opened, closed, mounted on the motorcycle or removed in seconds. In addition, the Vario cases can be carried comfortably using the integrated fold-out handles.

X-RACK – a pannier rack positioned close to the centre of gravity for excellent handling and a slim silhouette

The X-RACK pannier rack is designed to accommodate the X-CASE X36 panniers or the X-CASE X30 variable-capacity panniers. The rack blends discreetly into the motorcycle's side profile. The 20 mm precision steel tubing and multi-point mounting system ensure reliable stability, even when carrying the maximum permitted load and, thanks to the cross brace, when riding off-road. During the development of the rack, particular attention was paid not only to structural rigidity but also to optimising its own weight. With the X-RACK, the X-CASE panniers sit close to the motorcycle, keeping the weight near the centre of gravity. This enhances handling, improves riding safety and creates a slim silhouette – an undeniable advantage in cities, on ferries or in your own garage, wherever manoeuvring in tight spaces is required. This configuration also minimises the frontal area exposed to wind resistance while riding.
